A Message from the Executive Director

Welcome to the BTEC Newsletter!

BTEC has gotten off to a very busy and productive start.
In addition to welcoming many new companies, nonprofits, and research universities to our membership ranks, in the past month we exhibited at two conferences: the International Biomass Conference and Expo and Heating the Northeast with Renewable Biomass.

We received a great amount of interest and positive feedback at both shows, further reinforcing our belief that forming BTEC was a great step forward for the biomass thermal industry. I hope that you will see the value in joining us as a Founding Member.

In the next few days, BTEC will be announcing its legislative initiatives for 2009. If your organization could benefit from being a part of BTEC's message on Capitol Hill, please consider joining us today. As a grassroots organization, our greatest strength in Washington is our membership.

With that said, please take a look at the rest of the newsletter. We've included a sneak preview of premium content that's available only to members. Don't hesitate to contact us if you'd like to chat about joining BTEC--we'd be happy to have you on board!

Best,

Jeffrey Serfass
